The Gulf Hotel Bahrain’s La Pergola by Giancarlo Perbellini won first place for the “most memorable dinner" - Season 2018-2019 by the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. During the dinner, La Pergola by Giancarlo Perbellini was set under the theme of Una Settimana A Venezia (A week in Venice) complimenting the interior design to an authentic Venetian style village. Entertainment featured tenors Giovanni Iannone and Gianluca Avallone, flown in from Italy and were complimented by the in-house band. The evening started with Chef Giancarlo Perbellini making a surprise video call to present his tailor made menu for the evening. “It’s truly an honour to receive this prestigious award from the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs”!
